Community Status Updates
Just trying to meet people~
I'm currently writing a science fiction novel (hopefully for adults or young adults). Currently, I'm on my fifth draft where I am retyping the entire draft. I have found this method brings certain strengths (like catching flow issues) and weaknesses (my terrible habit of omitting words when typing). While trying to balance my other job, I find it increasingly difficult to find the energy to write. Of course, I have friends reading my novel, but they have short attention spans. I hope...

When yor writer's group gives you lots to consider and asks good questions.
I sent out my first query! And got my first rejection. Sigh.

Ouch! J&J went through the ringer with my writer's group's critique on Saturday. It stung but now I'm reading through their comments and seeing that they were right...will wait until all comments are in then form a plan of attack =)
