When telling my 18yo niece about my debut novel (adult commercial fiction) she asked, "So, will like teenage girls like it? Like, twelve-year-olds? Because if you want to sell your book you should probably make sure twelve-year-olds like it." Sigh. No, twelve-year-olds probably won't like my book, but thanks for the unsolicited advice ;)
Looking for a story I remember writing and saving. And no amount of searching through my writing folder brings it up...and I know it's there. *frustrated*

annab3llaTip: should be "Writers" not "Writer's". (I don't normally correct random people's spelling/grammar, but it looks like you're trying to create a professional blog, so correct spelling/grammar is important.) :)

mlebleekAhhh! I continually deal with this issue. I always feel like I'm cheating on my WIP when I start thinking about (er-obsessing about) the book I WANT to write! Good luck. If you figure something out then let me know

I wrote 21,323 words today. Feeling pretty good, I can probably go to sleep now. But no, I'm still typing. I think I'm obsessed.

Throw the manuscript away. http://britneylewisbooks.blogspot.com/2014/11/throwing-manuscript-away.html
Sometimes, you just need to get the words down. You can make them pretty later...
