To submit queries, please send your query letter in the body of the email along with the first 50 pages of your manuscript attached as a .doc file to info@jillgrinbergliterary.com. The email change is very recent, so if you submitted a query in the past 48 hours, chances are it was not received. You may address your query to Jill Grinberg, Cheryl Pientka, or Katelyn Detweiler. The snail mail address is located at the website, but email submissions are preferred.

They take attachment? Not knocking you, just want to be 100% sure =). Most agencies won't take attachments or the first 50 right off the bat. But if that's so, that's really awesome and I will research this agency for possible submission. Thanks for posting this!

Does anyone have an update on this? I've tried their website off and on for a couple of weeks, and all the links go nowhere, or there's some weird page with ads. I wanted to learn more about this agency. Are they just operating without a site, or will one eventually be back up?

The agency website is currently down because we are working on a new website design. There is still, however, the Publisher's Marketplace page: http://www.publisher...bers/JillGrin/. I believe the submission guidelines are posted above, but I can clarify them down here. There are currently three agents accepting queries: Jill Grinberg, Cheryl Pientka, and Katelyn Detweiler. Please email info@jillgrinbergliterary.com with your query in the body of the email and the first 50 pages of your manuscript attached as a .doc file. You may mail submissions to 16 Court Street Brooklyn, NY 11241. However, we greatly prefer email queries, as we can respond much more easily. We have a current approximate response time of 2 weeks. For requested full manuscripts, response times are usually much longer due to the intense evaluation process involved.

If we queried a couple months ago and haven't received a reply, would you suggest requerying? I queried mid-November, and because of the response time you stated, I'm wondering if the query went astray.

Thanks so much, litagencyintern! I appreciate it! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the website. I like to read agent bios to see if my work clicks with a particular agent's taste (on a level deeper than genre)! I don't want to be annoying and mass-query!=)
