I was just reading about Draft2Digital, a service similar to Smashwords. According to their website (https://www.draft2digital.com/), they distribute to Amazon, B&N, Kobo, iTunes, and Createspace and are looking at several others. They DO NOT have ISBN's. Unless they have some other arrangement with the retailers, you would need to get your own ISBN, which can be pricy.

I'm just curious if anyone has used them or what gossip might be circulating about how their services are.

I am about to use them and they do assign ISBN's.

"We’ll automatically assign an ISBN to any book published through our system unless you provide one of your own. It’s a free service we provide because ISBNs allow us to distribute your book to more channels, and you don’t have to forfeit any of your rights. That’s good for you and good for us!"

I would like to thank R.A. Salvatore and Robert Jordan for raising me in their fantastic worlds.
