I am Roman Catholic and I attend midnight Mass. In my experience the midnight Mass start time can vary from parish to parish. Also the feel, length and music may vary between St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York and a small country parish in Maine or the Vatican in Rome. The prayers readings and order of the Mass is the same throughout the world. I think that the midnight Mass is very beautiful and is usually very crowded. How many days until Christmas? The best thing to do may be to go to one if you can, in a place similar to where your story takes place. Good luck!
