I have just finished my latest memoir and would like to land an agent. I have self published two books, one being a memoir about overcoming abuse, the second a children's chapter book. I would like to explore a more traditional publishing route for this book and need an agent. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi there, you need to write a query letter, which you then submit to agents.

This thread has some great advice and further resources to read: http://agentquerycon...a-query-letter/

Memoir is slightly different to fiction, and some agents will also expect you to have some form of platform to support your memoir and the central themes.
