I got a full request from Ms. Howland, and I'm wondering if anyone know much about her. The agency website doesn't offer much, and it doesn't look like they rep very many authors or have too many books out. Of all the interviews I read that she's done, she sounds amazing. I just can't find much.

  • Publishing Experience:I edit and write for a small magazine and edit other things including books on a freelance basis. I've had one book published as a ghost writer (Freedom Press) and have a historical YA novel coming out in 2018 (Christian Focus), but my first love is literary fiction.

I recently got a partial request from her due to a Twitter contest. Actually, I think D&O have some really big names under 'Authors' on their website - Chuck Palahniuk is very well known, for instance (Fight Club), and I was even more starstruck to see that they represent the estate of Mario Puzo, who wrote The Godfather - one of my all-time favourite movies! Maybe an indication that they're good at film rights? ;)
