I know quite a few of you are trying to get pitches ready, I came across this and really liked the examples. Hope this is helpful to you guys as well.

I was just looking at guidelines for #PitMad on Brenda Drake's site. There's no mention of chapter books in the listing of the genres. Does that mean chapter books are excluded from the contest this time?

What exactly do you mean by chapter book?  The genres are, Young Adult, Middle Grade, Adult, New Adult, Picture Book, Non-fiction.

How often does it come around?

There are lots of twitter pitch contests, put the Brenda Drake ones are maybe 4 times a year.

Mallory:  A chapter book is between Middle Grade and Picture Book, sometimes also called "Early Reader".
