Hey group -

RC and I (the two mods who mostly do chat) have a lot going on right now. RC is debuting, I'm folding up for 2013 and gearing up the 2014 release while writing for 2015.

However - we're both still very interested in continuing with the weekly chats.

Beta rules / guidelines is a great opening topic for 2014. We will more than likely also be drawing topics and material from the From the Write Angle blog, as we are contributors there and it serves as a good well for topics and redirects to steer people towards once the chat is over.

what happened to official chat? I feel so disconnected from AQC, but maybe that's just me, I miss official chat... :(

We're working on it, B. I meant to run one this week, but a migraine derailed me.

Hopefully up and running for next week's chat.

So did official chat officially die out?

  • Publishing Experience:My work first appeared in Divine Dirt Quarterly and Oysters&Chocolate. Sadly, these are both out of print now. More recently, my short stories have appeared in two anthologies (The Spring and The Fall) from Elephant's Bookshelf Press. I have self published two novels and a short story collection.

It's sort of sputtered out... we usually take summers off anyway, I think. You can often find lots of people in chat at random times.

If you have an idea for a formal chat, though, my schedule is pretty flexible and I can probably mod if you let me know what and when you'd like to do it. :)

Old chats never die. They just fade away.
