Hey the name's Mike Artley. I'm mostly into poetry and philosophy (also in a band), but I guess i need to know how many poets you (generalization of agents) look into. I'm highly aware of how lowly poetry is received in our Era. I look forward to your answer. Thank you for your time!!
Right on,

I don't rep poetry or poetry collections, though there are agents who do. Poetry is great because you have a lot of other venues for it, like magazines and literary journals. Not a lot of kids read poetry (after the picture book age, and even so, rhyming picture books are sort of falling out of favor), so I don't rep it, as I'm a children's agent.
