For those of you who, like me, have not yet published, this is an opportunity.  They do not exclude folks who have self published, but I'm not sure they consider Kindle publication self published.  You'll find a email address on the entry form for asking questions.


For comparison to other competitions (think Amazon)  This award had only 384 submissions last year, and I see nothing in the rules to prevent me from continuing to Query or even contract elsewhere.  Obviously if you contracted you would not longer be a competitor.


And besides I like the imprint.


MWA keeps a current list of submissions.  This year there have been 57 as of August 24.   They strongly suggest submitting as early as possible to avoid being buried in the avalanche of materials in December.
