Great helpful link! Thanks!
I use my real name for Twitter and all social media which is also the name I write under so that readers can find me. Of course that now means everyone who knows my name and can use the Internet can also find my Twitter, for better or worse. My landlord just told me the whole apartment building reads my Twitter which I loved.
If you want to be a writer who is read, be your honest self, use your real name, and dive in. Just remember, Twitter as as public as yelling something in the middle of the street so filter out anything you don't want becoming public record. Twitter isn't a diary. Anyone can read it. Never forget that. But once you get used to that it can be used to your advantage to promote your work, as it should.
