This is a virtual writer's retreat that lasts through April. It's free. I see no downside to signing up.

I did this last year. It was fun. ^^ Finished a short story of more than 10K words.

There's too much blood in my tea system. Time to put the kettle on.

I'm doing it next month to push myself through another revision/rewrite (since at the camps you can do revision as well as a first draft). I love doing the camps, because of the cabins feature and how low-key it is compared to regular NaNoWriMo.

I've done Camp NaNoWriMo and NaNoWriMo a bunch of times and it's always a rewarding experience. It's such a good way to do a focused literary revision or try out some new material with their helpful word counter tracker that really makes you feel like you're accomplishing something. I would recommend Camp NaNoWriMo if you want a low-key challenge that you can always bail on if you don't have enough time.

Did anyone do NaNoWriMo this past November?

I wrote my favorite WIP yet and am currently rewriting and revising. And I can't wait for Camp NaNo to start a new project :D
