I was wondering if anyone else was planning to attend Gencon and their Writers Symposium (or hosting a panel) August 4-7 in Indianapolis.

For those unfamiliar with Gencon (www.gencon.com), it is largely a convention that celebrates games; cardgames, board games, digital games, role-playing games, etc. However, it also has a section called the Writers Symposium, I attended in 2014 and it was amazing, they had four rooms dedicated the whole weekend from 9am-9pm on writing, the editing process, etc. Most panels are hosted by more than one person established in their field and they encourage questions.

They also have a section in the dealers room for self-published and independent authors to promote their book.

I will be there, just I have been the last two, but I'm not going to be on a panel, just an attendee. Tons of fun, and basically everything is free if you're already attending Gen con.
