Oops! Just realized in the middle of friending some of you that I'm still on AQ under my personal email address so I was more than likely friending you from my personal FB page    I have since sold my first novel and set up an author FB page and email, so instead of going through the rigamarole of changing my email address on here, I'd be delighted if you would ignore a friend request from Ellen Wiseman and have you request to be my friend here: http://www.facebook....100002788343836

Thanks and Sorry!

  • Publishing Experience:Journalist covering U.S. nonprofits, foundations, and life in general. President and Chief Elephant Officer of Elephant's Bookshelf Press, LLC. Since establishing the company in 2012, we have published ten books, including short stories by several AQC writers and debut novels by AQC authors A.T. O'Connor (aka Cat Woods), "ScubaSteve" Carman, and R.S. Mellette. Heading into 2016, we're aiming to publish at least two books, including the second Mellette novel and an anthology. In 2015, I saw a few memoir/nonfiction pieces published in Red Fez. I expect to do more of that in 2016 and beyond, while also looking to add freelance editing and writing clients.

Of course, I just saw this now. Will defriend and refriend; don't take it personally.

Please excuse the general impersonal nature of it, it's kind of a work account.
Why shouldn't truth be stranger than fiction? Fiction, after all, has to make sense.

  • Publishing Experience:I've had some poetry published in various poetry books, newspapers, and some online things-I don't remember the specifics though. No novel published, yet. Oh yeah-I have had some articles published in various newspapers as well, but-like the poetry- it's been a while...

I didn't pay much attention to this before since my FB page was personal, but I just started my writer one

I have a fanpage for my series (The one Shadow's Dawn is a part of). I try to keep my personal one just for friends and family.

I try to keep it updated, but sometimes it slips.

My personal Facebook is pretty lamesauce, but here's the one for my (currently unpublished) novel: http://www.facebook....161227150647087 . Yes, it's silly that I draw fanart for my own work, but it's fun and it kills time. Plus, who doesn't love sitting on their bed in the middle of the afternoon blasting music, cursing profusely, and coloring in Photoshop?

-Ray Bradbury

Like sarcasm? Then you'll love me. Probably. I write urban fantasy. Here's my Twitter, Blog, Tumblr, Goodreads, and Facebook page.
