Posting this here in case it's of interest to anyone looking for examples of query letters that worked!

I've compiled a spreadsheet of queries that landed authors with agents from the years 2010-2016. It's currently got about 355 successful queries in it, and is browsable by age category/genre/agent/request rate and a few other things ... so if you're looking for a particular kind of query, it may be helpful to you!

  • Publishing Experience:Complete novice but I wrote a 95,000 novel for practice (I don't intend to publish it just yet as its not to the style I want to be known for)

Currently writing a romance novel which will finish at around 75,000 words which I intend to turn into a series (at least one sequel)
