This is the title I came up with the newest work I finished.

It is: A guilt-ridden malcontent given up on life, dreams of a fantasy world inside the mind. They find personal secrets they wished to keep locked inside. An elf girl brings joy and magic into their life.

I would state the genre, although it seems few know what Transrealism is. But it's transrealistic fantasy--fantasy designed to reconfirm and make reality more interesting. It is partially influenced by my escape from UFO cult, although I consider it a form of personal futurism about the near future.

Is the title to on the nose?

Beyond The Dreamer's Edge -- New Mainstream/Magic Realism -- Novella -- Editing

"Beyond the Dreamer's Edge" sounds like a good title. "The Elf Girl..." may make the title a little too verbose. Would the title still fit the themes of the story if you trimmed it down?

If you give me a critique, I'll return the favor.

Agreed, it's a little bit of a mouthful altogether.

Yea I think it would, I'll trim it down then. Thanks!

"The Elf Girl Beyond" might be cool to, but I have weird tastes in titles.
