I cut and paste from my manuscript to gmail for my queries and the indention and double spacing disappears.

What gives and how to fix it?

Thanks.

What email platform are you using? What type of document are you copy/pasting from? Example - I write in Microsoft Word and then copy and paste into a gmail window - I've not had it re-space it.

Are you selecting "paste as plain text" or "paste"?

I've been choosing just "paste" into gmail from OpenOffice .rtf files.

I've found out that it works if I use Ariel font in the document, but I have to write the agent's name in the document and any personalizations before I copy and paste.
