So in my novel, there is a psychological doctor. His name is introduced to the reader when the MC looks at abstract art spelling his name.

How do I write that? It's in third person but present tense.
Do I just say Dr. Whoever? Do I need quotes?

I thought about having the character say his name, but no regular person says doctor blah blah, I'm seeing this... It's weird like that.

Any suggestions? I looked everywhere, but only found in dialogue.
