Hey everyone,

For the longest time, I dubbed my fantasy novel "The Cloven King" due to the demonic antagonist. Now I'm wondering if that title doesn't work since it leaves out the main character. A title I've been thinking about is "The Winter Child." Both these titles make sense for the story, but I'm not sure which sounds better.

Option 1: The Cloven King

Option 2: The Winter Child

Any feedback on which catches your interest would be helpful! If you need help with a title, please let me know and I'll provide feedback.

Thanks!

Luke

I would think you would either name it for the protagonist or use both in a good vs. evil format, as in PROTAGONIST AND THE XXXX ANTAGONIST, or something to that degree. Make any sense?

If you don't mind, could you vote on my title? I'm also looking for query advice :D

The Winter Child feels a little generic whereas The Cloven King piques my interest.

Maybe Wrath of The Cloven King (or some other word instead of wrath that you feel covers him better?)
