I remember back in my time Aerial font size 11 was the standard for submitting documents. Is that still the case or has it changed? What is the proper font and size to use for submitting your material?

Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, 1 inch margins, format: indent.

Might vary by agent/publisher, though. Here's one of the many places on the web that recommends my guidelines.

Most want Times New Roman 12 point, as Speedchuck said above.

What they said.  I do like the idea of "aerial" font, though.  Do you need wings to read it?   Just kidding.  If the agent doesn't specify then the others have given the most often used.  Hard to call anything in writing a "standard"
