  • Publishing Experience:personal essays published in one big and two smaller literary journals. Poems in small journals. Academic books published by university press and smaller press.

I've got a nice, gruesome topic: the desire to divorce one's mother, and an edgy, humorous voice. But no real platform except for a little website with a nice photo of me three years ago and a list of my two three published personal essays, bunch o' little poems, and load of academic writing--the latter, i.e. the least interesting to any publisher, takes up most of the Writings section on my website, since that, folks, is all I've done!

Want to trade critiques of queries?

Welcome to the Connect.  There's a Query Critique section as well as Help Wanted for critiques.  Lots of helpful folks who do wonders for polishing stories.  It's a give and take thing, but doing critiques helps your own writing.
