I sent a number of queries out in rather scattershot fashion, received a request from one for a full manuscript, but can't seem to find out much about the agent. Has anyone had experience with Mark Falkin?

What agency?  I take it you've tried Google. You can also do a search on Amazon to see if his name is mentioned in the acknowledgements of books.

You can also look him up on AgentQuery.com, querytracker.net, or look at Absolute Write's forums. They have threads for most literary agents/agencies.

There are some comments about him on QueryTracker -- not all so good.
