I've written a golf novel, my first novel, about high school golfing for men/males, the competition and the need for cheating to land a golf scholarship and advancement. Please advise how to find an agent. Thanks. Golfermichael.

If you go to a site like agentquery.com or querytracker.net you can search for agents by genre. Google searches can also help if you're very specific and vet anyone you find on a reputable site.

Your story sounds like you could sell it as YA contemporary, but some agents may be specifically interested in sports novels, though I don't believe that's a searchable category on most sites.
