Hi all. I'm Chris and I'm new here on the forums. I'm also new to writing as far as what happens after one actually writes something.

I've written my second book. "The Man from the Storm" or "Mannen Fra Stormen". (I haven't decided on the title yet.)

My first book wasn't very cool. I didn't try to publish it.

My second book is good, in my humble opinion. It's the kind of story that I'd love to find when wandering through the library. I've queried probably 175 agents or so but have had no luck yet.

I'd like to find someone to critique the book for me, I believe a "beta-reader" is the term. I've had a few friends read the book and they all loved it, but hey...they're friends so they're probably somewhat biased.

I'd put the genre at right about "Speculative, Super-hero low fantasy". The story is edgy and there is coarse language. 99,000 words or so. I think it is adult fiction but the protagonist is only 22, so maybe some of the YA crowd might like it.

Anyways, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction if they have a moment.

And hello to everyone!
