Hi, all --

I've noticed some agents specify things like font size and double-spacing for email queries (particularly writing samples). But my email client (Thunderbird) doesn't allow me to control that. I paste in the requested format, and when i send a test to myself, it comes back single-spaced and in a different font. I even had my tech-y husband look at it, and he says it can't be done. How are others handling this?

If my feedback was helpful, I'd appreciate some thoughts on my historical novel query.

Can you create a new e-mail account solely for querying? I use Gmail for all of my e-mail accounts and I've never had a problem formatting queries there.

Do as spineofiron suggests and create a new email account. I use Yahoo! and it works well with copy & pasting the format. The spacing is retained. Font might need to be adjusted for size.
