Not sure what to call this, but here's the premise...

Hispanic-inspired YA Divine-Comedy meets Midsummer's Night Dream. One teenage soul in Purgatorio tries to stop a mutiny which will land her back in a permanent prison cell in Hell. In order to do this, she recruits help from both Hell and Heaven, but finds redemption isn't as easy as sin.

Thoughts? I feel fantasy is safe, but since it's angels and dead people, is that...supernatural? Paranormal?

Is it set in modern day real world? If so, I'd say contemporary fantasy. Supernatural and paranormal have a bit of an implication of the "spookier" side of things.

Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida C√≥rdova may be a good comp for your book and I'm pretty sure it's marketed as YA fantasy. I couldn't find anything that suggested that, though.
