This sounds like a tough contest to enter. The entry is not a pitch, it's a synopsis (beginning, middle, & end) in only three sentences. YIKES! gosh!:

Good Christ, that's just mean. Synopses suck enough without a three-sentence limit! Ack!

It'll probably turn out to be a lesser-of-many-evils type of contest. They will all, no doubt, be bad to SOME degree. You just can't do this to a novel and have it turn out a masterpiece.

Also, um, he's REALLY CUTE.

...just sayin'.

Totally agree. Also, he wrote GIRL PARTS which is an awesome YA novel! I think you'd dig it, ant! (If you haven't already read it!)

and yeah, it's definitely a challenge. I'm not sure I'll be able to enter this one. I'm terminally bad at synopsis to begin with!

I'm glad I don't write YA. That contest is just a little too scary for my taste.
