Hi there, peeps:

We just received the below email from Ms. Phelan, who has worked as an assistant at the venerable Waxman Literary Agency for over a year.

She literally is on the hunt for her first deal in order to be promoted to full agent status, so she's hoping that some AQCer's will help her with that....

We suspect you all will be very accommodating...

You can view her AQ profile and submission guidelines here: http://agentquery.com/agent.aspx?agentid=1182

Again, there's probably no better opportunity these days than querying hungry new agents at established agencies.

--------------------

Hello,

A few hours ago, I submitted an application to be added to the AgentQuery database and wanted to make sure that it was received. I have been an assistant at the Waxman Literary Agency for over a year, and have recently been in the process of graduating to Agent status - but I need to make a deal before I can be considered an agent, so I wanted to take advantage of the Agent Query resources and make myself visible to the wonderful authors who use this website.

Thanks so much, and please do let me know if there is anything else you'd like me to provide.

All best,
Beth Phelan

Since she accepts thrillers, she'll be on my list too! If you're reading Ms. Phelan, wishing you the best of luck~there's amazing writers here @ AQC.

As soon as revisions are complete, she'll get mine in her inbox.

Good for you! She requested my full as well. Quick questions: You were published in the Hartford Courant as in Connecticut? And the Long River Review around the UConn area? Just curious because I grew up in that area!
