Ms. Anderson Wheeler just sent us her agent info; she's on the hunt for new clients.

Be sure to check out her AQ agent profile and submission guidelines: http://agentquery.co...px?agentid=1185

I received a response from Ms. Anderson-Wheeler within 20 minutes of sending my query saying that she was reading through my work and would get back to me shortly.

Regardless of the outcome, I am already impressed with her speedy response and quick update. I hope she likes what she sees! I would love having an agent who maintains this level of communication with her clients.

Thanks again AQC Crew for this forum!

I got a form rejection today -- she mentioned sample chapters, which I sent, but also mentioned a synopsis, which I did not.

Thanks for this info. I'm debating if she'd be interested in my project. May try a query at any rate.

I got the same letter, and I didn't send any chapters or a synopsis—only a query letter!

Also, when I checked on the linked website it was "under construction". Said to check back in December 2011, so... what's the scoop on this? Anyone know? I like to check the publishers' websites in addition to the AQ listing.

On AQ the submission guidelines say Email query with first 3 chapters/30pages as a PDF file or Word file.
Since there's no website to check, I don't know if that's totally correct or not.

Seems to be some confusion, since people received form rejections mentioning a synopsis.
Website "coming soon" is worrisome to me, espeicially since that "coming soon" was supposed to be last December. Doesn't mean they're not legit., but there's some disconnect there.

She requested my full :) I sent her my materials and she replied within hours that she was excited to read it and would get back to me as soon as she could. I sent her my query and my first 3 chapters (not a synopsis and she hasn't asked for one yet)

Good luck everyone who sent one out!

I am assuming she is a new agent in this agency as she is not listed on their website?
