Ms. Picard also requested my fill manuscript after receiving my query and I sent it to her. She replied within a week stating she found it intriguing and wants to charge $2.50 per page attaching a few pages that she edited. I must say I approve the changes she suggested, but I'm still unsure of going with her after everything I've read about her on the internet.
NO reputable agent charges editing fees from the clients they represent. There are some reputable agents who have editing services, but they will not sign you as a client if you have ever paid them a dime for their editing. It's a conflict of interest. I'd run far, far away from this "agent".
